Overview
We are looking to employ a 1st line IT Support Technician who is capable of working under pressure within our technical team. Primarily working within the 1st line remit, you will be expected to develop skills quickly to undertake some 2nd line tasks where the need arises. The candidate will be self-motivated; continually striving to develop personal skills and contribute to overall improvement within the team.
A combination of office and home working has become the norm due to Covid-19, so candidates must be punctual, disciplined and able to work unsupervised.
The role demands a systematic approach to problem solving in order to find a speedy resolution to assigned tickets, working within SLA’s and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have already worked in a similar role and have a good knowledge of IT related products and services.
Scheduled and ad-hoc customer site visits are regularly provided, so a full driving license and car is essential to this role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital to the customer experience and come hand in hand with technical abilities. Applicants within the area of Warrington are preferred, but a sensible commuting distance will be considered. We may consider a Graduate provided 12 months of commercial experience in a similar role can be demonstrated.
Occasionally, overtime will be required to deliver additional services or projects to customers. Flexibility is and enthusiasm to deliver our services an important attribute.
Key Objectives

Providing first line IT support to our clients over the phone and remote screen.

Setting up new computers for clients

Undertaking It admin on servers and cloud bases systems, such as Office 365
